NEWTEST certified field technicians and engineers performing a wide variety of Special Inspections

Pipelines Inspection Using (CCT ROBOT)

NEWTEST has state-of-the-art robot inspection pipelines in our advanced testing laboratory which is the most effective and accurate tools to access the pipelines networks that play a very important role in the drainage industry. And because pipeline systems are often hidden underground, long, thin and complex; robots are sorely needed, so that we are provide CCTV Robot which is Designed for long-distance drainpipes up to 300m with a pipe diameter of 6″ – 24″.

It is a high-definition pipeline inspection robot, and it’s can use a tablet, a laptop or a dedicated industrial controller as the main control, freely choose wireless or wired connection and control, and display and store high-definition inspection videos in real time.

As a single-source provider of CCT Robot and Pipeline testing, we can assist in creating a testing program that gives you confidence in your Pipeline Project through providing you the following:

  • Best-quality inspection and images of cracks and notches in the Pipelines.
  • HD-Video, 1920 x 1080 resolution showing the internal shape of pipes, bends and manholes.
  • Location of the cracks inside the pipelines and which is extremely important for repair.
  • Limitless rotation 360° pan, tilt and zoom.
  • Field evaluation report including (installation quality, defects and inclination).

We also offer pipe push-rod camera which is suitable for surveying and testing with residential, small commercial sites, specialty factories and municipal pipelines, including slender, narrow, curved pipes that cannot be accessed by CCTV robot with this characteristic.

  • Simple operation powerful wide range of application.
  • Pipe Diameter 25-200mm, (4” pipe).
  • Cable length standard 20 meters, max 40meters.
  • Wide visible range with clear images.

Universal Automatic Tensile Testing Machines (Steel)

While the tensile strength is an extremely important property for reinforcing Steel bars that used in concrete construction. Our tensile testing services allow us to deliver critical information relating to the strength, stiffness, and ductility of steel rebars by Utilizing the most sophisticated machine in the world, Universal Automatic Tensile Testing system (UTM) which is suitable to test metallic round and flat Rebars to report the ultimate tensile strength, Bending and Rebinding strength. And from these Results we can determine the following properties: maximum elongation, Young’s modulus, yield strength and fracture strength.

Pile Integrity Testing

NEWTEST Provide Pile Integrity Tester (PIT) that gives peace of mind that a pile or shaft is free of major discontinuous reason of piles foundation such as (honeycomb, mud entrapment, fracture, hole and defects) prior to construction of the superstructure using stress wave along pile body by applying the excitation on the top of the pile with a convenient and fast operations.

PIT is a non-destructive qualitative evaluation required by geotechnical engineers and contractors for concrete pile foundations to assess their physical dimension (length or cross section), Continuity and Consistency of pile material that can be changes in piles with cross section. The resulting defects can negatively impact the durability and mechanical performance of the pile so PIT is considered as an important test for your project foundation quality.

Electrical Density Gage in Field (EDG)

Compacted soil is a vital element in the construction and transportation industries of any civil engineering project.

We offer in suite density tester Electrical Density Gage Test (EDG) as an alternative way that is capable of providing accurate readings for the moisture content, dry and wet density and compaction percent of soils used in road beds and foundations which can be used as a construction aid to monitor day-to-day compaction operations by providing performance and measurement results highly comparable to those achieved with traditional methods that control the process of soil compaction, including the sand-cone and oven moisture test combination.

Ultrasonic Testing for Concrete

We Perform the most advanced solutions for non-destructive evaluation of concrete strength to avoid further damage to an already struggling structure.

Ultrasonic testing of concrete is an effective way for quality assessment and uniformity that allow us to make an inspection and assessment of existing concrete structures, that can inform us about concrete strength, structural integrity, localization of defects and cracks depth and width estimations in concrete that cause a serious damages and collapses in the structure.

In construction projects, switching to non-destructive means less intervention, shorter down-times, and saving money.

Determination The Type of Cement (OPC / SRC)

OPC stands for Ordinary Portland Cement, which is a type of cement that is widely used in construction. It is made by grinding together a mixture of limestone and clay, heating the resulting mixture in a kiln, and then grinding the resulting clinker to a fine powder. OPC is known for its strength and versatility, and it is used in a wide range of construction applications, including concrete, mortar, and stucco.

SRC stands for sulfate-resisting cement, which is a type of cement that is resistant to the harmful effects of sulfates in soil and water. SRC is made with a special blend of raw materials that make it less prone to sulfate attack, which can cause concrete to crack and weaken. SRC is commonly used in the construction of foundations, roads, and other structures that may be exposed to high levels of sulfates in the soil or water.

Triaxial Test

We have state-of-the-art, TRIAXIAL and consolidation testing equipment in our Advanced Testing Laboratory that can be used to perform several types of consolidation tests by subjecting it to different drainage conditions.

Triaxial Testing of soil is an important aspect of construction which used to solve stability problems by determining the shear strength and stiffness of soil when holding reservoirs of water, and useful in pore water pressure measurement and in determining sandy soil’s contractive behavior, too.
